Student Financial Services Realigned with Enrollment Management

Over the past year, I have worked to make adjustments to the Administrative Structure. Today I want to give you some insights into the Enrollment Management structure we have created, which is led by Vice President Eric Maloof.

Notification of Change in Title IX Coordinator

I am writing to let you know about an important change in our administrative structure. As of July 31, 2017, Tim O'Sullivan will complete his appointment as Title IX Coordinator. Our new Title IX Coordinator, as of August 1, 2017, will be Pamela Johnston, Assistant Vice President for Human Resources.

Search underway for Vice President for Strategic Communications & Marketing

Dear Colleagues,

I am pleased to announce that a national search is underway for the Vice President for Strategic Communications and Marketing (VPSCM). The successful candidate for this position will provide leadership and vision for the University’s strategic and integrated marketing and communications functions. The Vice President for Strategic Communications and Marketing will serve as a member of the University’s executive leadership team.

Trinity University Will Seek Placement on the National Register of Historic Places

I am excited to announce that Trinity University will seek placement on the National Register of Historic Places to create a historic district for the Trinity campus. Approved by the University's Board of Trustees, this initiative is part of the University's recently completed Campus Master Plan.

Trinity University becomes a Tobacco-Free Campus August 1

Dear faculty, staff, and students,

Trinity University will become a tobacco-free campus on August 1, 2017 in support of the University’s commitment to holistic wellness. According to the Surgeon General, tobacco use is the leading cause of preventable death and disease in this country. As an institution of higher education, Trinity strives to provide a safe and healthy environment for our students, faculty, staff, and visitors in which to learn and work.

Sanctuary Campus

Last week, the Trinitonian reported on the "sanctuary campus" petition currently circulating on campus. The Trump Administration's crack down on undocumented immigrants has spurred some colleges to declare their campuses "sanctuaries."
